To provide a pump with hydraulic pressure-driven movable vanes also usable for water purification and food-related application by installing an operating device for the movable vane of an impeller in a suction bell under the impeller.
The cylindrical operating device 19 installed in the suction bell 10 is formed in a hydraulic drive type, and the connection shaft 38 of a vane angle operating mechanism 20 disposed in a cylinder case 22 is bent by the reciprocating motion of an operating shaft 28 to adjust the angle of the movable vane 17. By this, the device is formed in a shape that the flow of sucked water in the suction bell 10 is not obstructed. Since hydraulic oil is not used for the submerged operating device 19, an environment is not contaminated by pumping delivery. The operating device 19 for the movable vane 17 and the vane angle operating mechanism 20 are reduced in lengths and also the processing and assembling of parts can be facilitated.
