Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate supply of lubricating oil to a bearing and seal members arranged in a through-hole.SOLUTION: In a pump 10 disclosed by this specification, a lubricating oil chamber 32 and a pump chamber are defined by a partition wall 14. The partition wall has a through-hole 14b passing through from the lubricating oil chamber into the pump chamber. A rotating shaft 26 extends from the lubricating oil chamber through the through-hole to the pump chamber. In the lubricating oil chamber, a gear is formed which is fixed to the rotating shaft and adapted to be rotated integrally with the rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is rotatably supported by a bearing 34 provided in the through-hole. Between the inner peripheral face of the through-hole and the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft, seal members 36, 38 are provided for sealing a space between the inner peripheral face of the through-hole and the outer peripheral face of the rotating shaft. In a wall face 14a on the lubricating oil chamber side of the partition wall, a recessed part 70 is formed to reserve lubricating oil. The partition wall also has a lubricating oil flow path 74 extending from the recessed part to the through-hole.
