Abstract:
PURPOSE: To couple an impeller directly to a motor and to provide a means effective to sealing of a shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A pumping installation comprises a container for storing liquid; and a centrifugal pump 1 to extrude fluid 24 in the container to an injection nozzle. The centrifugal pump 1 comprises a motor 2; an impeller 3 coupled to the rotary shaft 18 of the motor 2; and a vortex chamber 4 with which the impeller 3 is surrounded and in which a suction port 12 communicated with a container 25 and a discharge port communicated with a water injection port are formed. A gap between the motor 2 and the vortex chamber 4 is sealed with a lip seal 20.
