Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pump device which has the function of separating foreign matter from operating fluid containing foreign matter and which can accommodate an increase in the flow rate of the operating fluid. This pump device has: a first pump (3); a second pump (8) which has a rotating shaft coaxial with the rotating shaft (10) of the first pump (3) and which is provided below the suction opening (30i) of the first pump (3) ; at least one cyclone (6) which is disposed in a region above the second pump (8) and below the suction opening (30i) of the first pump(3) and which has the function of separating foreign matter from operating fluid; and a discharge opening (46o) which discharges operating fluid which contains the foreign matter separated by the cyclone(6).
