Title:
PUNCH FOR NAIL PULLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11235681
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To easily perform nail pulling work by forming a nail pulling punch to have a cylindrical part on one side of a strong metal bar and have a projecting part in the cylindrical part, whereby a nail with the head driven into a plate or the like can be pulled safely and quickly, and the once bent nail can be easily straightened.

First the tip of a nial is inserted in a cylindrical part 2 of a nail puller punch 1. In the cylindrical part 2, an oblique side of the nail is supported by a projeting part 3 so that the tip of the nail is not damaged and not slipped because it is cylindrical. When the head 4 is tapped by a hammer, the nail supported by the cylindrical part 2 is projected over a plate or the like to lessen friction with the plate or the like. Then, when the head of the nail is pulled by a crowbar or a pench, the driven nail can be easily pulled out. Conventionally the nail driven in the plate or the like is pulled by tapping the tip by a hammer to project the head of the nail, and pulling the nail by a nail pulling combbar or pench, so that in projecting the head, the tip is crushed or bent to be troublesome because the tip of the nail is tapped. By the above punch, however, the waste and risk of nail pulling work can be eliminated.
