Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a punch press equipped with a striker by which, even in the case that the position of a punch and a die loaded on a freely rotatable die holder is varied, the press work is easily dealt with.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of punches 17P are loaded on one of the die holders 15U, 15L of a pair of discs; a plurality of dies 17D, by which plate-like work W is cooperated with each corresponding punch, are loaded on the other die holder; and a striker 19 to plunge each punch is loaded on the ram 61 that is provided movably back an forth on the punch press. Then, the striker is provided such that, when the die holder is properly rotated in order to change the directivity of the desired punch, the position of the striker may be changed in accordance with the change of the position of the desired punch and die through the rotation of the die holder.
