Abstract:
To provide a punch stripper adapted to be retained by a punch retainer which can be attached to a movable upper tool part of a press.
A punch stripper 10 is retained to a punch retainer 2 of press tools 3a, 3b, and adapted to hold a workpiece 5 when the workpiece is machined by a punch 1. The punch stripper includes a punch stripper piston 11, and a pressure chamber adapted to apply a spring load to the punch stripper piston. The pressure chamber is demarcated at least partially by a gap between an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve. The punch stripper piston 11 has a section which is axially displaceable in the gap.
