Title:
PUNCH TOOL MADE OF FERROUS ALLOY COATED WITH VANADIUM-CONTAINING FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012206171
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a punch tool made of ferrous alloy which is coated with a film capable of reducing abrasion with a surface of the other material, even if fabrication is performed, and which is coated with a film capable of preventing damage of the punch tool made of ferrous alloy, even if the abrasion of the film is generated.

A vanadium-containing film which is expressed by V(1-x)Cx, where X lies in the range of >70 at% and ≤95 at% in an atomic percentage, is coated to the punch tool made of ferrous alloy 21. Further, a composite film is coated between the punch tool made of ferrous alloy 21 and the vanadium-containing film, and, in order of close distance from the punch tool made of ferrous alloy 21, the composite film is made of a V film and a V(1-Y)CY film (where Y lies in the range of ≥40 at% and ≤60 at% in the atomic percentage).
