Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a punch unit which can make a hole in a designated position without irregulation suitably matching recording sheets of various sizes and can be installed in the discharge side of a copying machine or a sorter by reducing its size.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary click stopper 32 is provided on the driven side shaft 43 of driving and driven side discharge rollers 35, 34, and a boring means 30 is disposed in the upstream close position of the rotary click stopper. A driving shaft 45 for supporting the driving side discharge roller and the boring means are alternatively driven by the same motor 50, whereby after the leading end portion of a recording sheet transported from an external device is stopped by the stopper, a hole is made in the leading end part.
