PURPOSE: To punch easily an inclined hole in the stage of punching said hole to a steel sheet by attaching freely rotatably an inclined revolving shaft attached with a nozzle for punching to a supporting stand.

CONSTITUTION: An inclined revolving shaft 13 attached with a working nozzle 20 of a gas cutter, etc. is swiveled integrally with a driving shaft 6 around a shaft 9, and the angle between a steel sheet and the shaft 13 is determined according to the angle of the inclined hole to be punched in the steel plate to be worked, then the nozzle 20 is ignited while it is swiveled integrally with the shaft 13. When a flame penetrates the steel sheet, the device 6 is moved in horizontal the vertical directions to positions the fulcrum poing 13a of the shaft 13 at the center of the inclined hole to be punched. The nozzle 20 spaced at a specified distance from the steel sheet is swiveled integrally with the shaft 13 and while the nozzle part is vertically moved in a circular shape along the shaft 13 by the device 6, the inclined hole is punched.
