Abstract:
To improve punching efficiency and productivity by shortening a time required for one punching operation of punching a sheet by reciprocating a punching member.SOLUTION: In a punching system 100, a control part 80 for controlling a punching drive motor 48 to make a punching member 21 reciprocate in an axial direction and make a punching blade 22 on one end punch a sheet, brakes a punching drive motor by applying an electric brake so as to stop the punching member after punching operation of the sheet at a home position. Fictional determination is made on a state that the punching drive motor stops rotating by the braking based on a rotation amount after the braking, and a start of next punching operation of the sheet by the punching member is determined. The rotation amount of the punching drive motor is detected as a pulse count, pulse width, pulse period of a pulse signal output from an encoder 55.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 31
