To provide a puncture needle which can be inserted straightly along a puncture route formed without damaging a fixed puncture route, and to provide a puncture needle which never damages the inner wall of a blood vessel with its blade tip during indwelling.
In the puncture needle for indwelling where a blade surface is formed so as to obliquely cross the end of a cylindrical body, the tip 11 of the blade surface 1 is made eccentric to the side of the center axis 2 of a cannula so that the shortest distance from the tip 11 of the blade surface 1 to the center axis of the cannula is shorter than the radius of the needle tube of the cannula. An angle formed by an extension line connecting a bending point 4 where the side surface of the cannula on the opposite side of the blade surface of the cannula starts bending toward the side of the center axis of the cannula toward the tip of the blade surface and the tip 11 of the blade surface 11 and the the center axis 2 of the cannula ranges ≥15° and ≤30°.
