Abstract:
To provide a pure water producing method efficiently removing a TOC component, in particular the TOC component derived from a slime control agent to provide pure water with low TOC, in the production of pure water by membrane treatment requiring the slime control agent.
The pure water producing method includes processes of: adding the slime control agent to raw water; membrane-treating the slime control agent-containing raw water with the slime control agent added thereto; irradiating the membrane-treated water with ultraviolet ray; and performing ion exchange to the liquid subjected to the ultraviolet ray irradiation treatment.
