Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purge device capable of suitably detecting that the passage end of a purge passage connected to an intake passage upstream of a compressor is disconnected from the intake passage.SOLUTION: A purge device 30 includes a selector valve 72 provided in an intake passage 11 at its connection portion with a purge passage 40 and capable of selecting communication or non-communication between the purge passage 40 and the intake passage 11, and an inner pressure sensor 71 for detecting an internal pressure of a canister 32. A control device 80 of the purge device 30 determines that the passage end of the purge passage 40 connected to the intake passage 11 is disconnected from the intake passage 11 if a change of a value detected by the internal pressure sensor 71 is smaller than a predetermined value when driving the selector valve 72 during driving the purge pump 51 to change over the state of the communication between the purge passage 40 and the intake passage 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
