PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid discharging a refrigerant gas in the air during purging for installing a separate type air conditioner, etc.
SOLUTION: A purging apparatus having a substituting gas vessel 3 charged with a substituting gas and recovered gas vessel 3 for recovering a gas contg. a gas to be charged is interconnected to an apparatus 1 to be purged having two or more valve holes connectable to other than a main circuit at a part to be purged. The substituting gas is sent out from the gas vessel 3 to purge the gas remaining in the apparatus 1 to be purged and recover in the recovered gas vessel 4.
