Abstract:
To provide a method for obtaining a charged organic compound with high purity.
There is provided a method for purifying an objective liquid containing a charged organic compound by using an electrodialyser, wherein the purification method comprises (a) supplying the objective liquid to a desalting vessel of the electrodialyser, (b) energizing on a condition that the pressure in a thickener is higher than the pressure in the desalting vessel and (c) transferring the charged compound supplied to the desalting vessel to the thickener through a cation exchange membrane or an anion exchange membrane.
