Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying cobalt chloride solution without cadmium remaining in a cobalt chloride solution after adsorption treatment when zinc and cadmium in the cobalt chloride solution is absorption removed by contacting a weak basic anion-exchange resin with the cobalt chloride solution.SOLUTION: When zinc and cadmium absorbed by a weak basic anion-exchange resin are removed and the weak basic anion-exchange resin is recycled, cadmium concentration in the cobalt chloride solution after absorption removal can be less than 0.1 mg/L by setting elution amount for eluting zinc and cadmium at 25 to 30 times of filled volume of the weak basic anion-exchange resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
