To provide a purification method of an organic compound capable of, even with a poorly soluble organic compound, purifying the organic compound of a target, with a simple method as well as with a high degree of purity and a high collection rate.SOLUTION: A purification method of an organic compound purifies an organic compound with chromatography and includes: a step of mixing an organic compound of a purification target, an adsorbent and a good solvent of the organic compound to obtain a slurry 1 in which at least part of the organic compound is dissolved into the good solvent; a second step of agitating the slurry 1 to obtain a slurry 2 with the organic compound absorbed by the adsorbent; and a step of loading the slurry 2 into a chromatographic column. A production method of an organic compound uses the purification method of an organic compound.
