Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method enabling constituent components to be cleaned while a furnace is in a usable state and enabling the collection and holding of the particulate matters accumulated on the constituent components.SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 may comprise: a portable frame 14; a tubular lance 50 supported by the frame 14 and including a nozzle 52 provided on a distal end portion of the lance 50; and an attraction force generator 78 operably connected to a proximal end portion of the lance 50 and generating an attraction force. The lance 50 is manipulated so as to move the nozzle 52 throughout constituent components, thereby making it possible to remove accumulated particulate matters from the constituent components through the lance 50.
