Abstract:
To provide a purifier realizing purifying effect to an object that exists at a separated place regardless of whether it is in gas phase or liquid phase, and a method of purification.
A purifier of the present invention comprises at least gas generating means for generating gaseous nitric acid and nitrous acid. The purifier is characterized in that generated nitric acid and nitrous acid are worked with an object existing separated from the gas generating means in gas phase or liquid phase, decomposition reaction decomposed by at least one of nitric acid and nitrous acid proceeds on the surface or in the inner part of the object so as that the object is purified.
