To provide a push bar conveyor capable of smoothly discharging from a conveyor outlet without applying excessive forces to a bush bar by a lump of metallic chips or mixed solid matters, or accumulating a large amount of chips at a rear part of the conveyor.
A slide shaft for securing a linear reciprocating movement of a push bar is made long in this push bar conveyor, and received by a wide-spaced bearing, and the slide shaft is connected with the push bar by pins at a terminal end of the push bar, so that the push bar can freely rotate around the pins. Saw-blade-like projections are provided to both bottom parts of a pin connection part on a push bar side. A V-shaped flat groove is provided on the bottom of the bush bar, and a rotary supply roll with V-shaped projections is provided on an outer periphery of a jaw at the conveyor outlet.
