Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button device capable of judging occurrence of "sericite" accurately, and when "sericite" is occurring, capable of resetting the button to a normal position, and preventing malfunction.SOLUTION: A push button switch 2 which turns a switch 20 ON by moving from a normal position to the ON position while resisting against the urging force of an elastic member 16, when press operation is performed for a button top 8 externally, includes a pressure sensor 26 for detecting whether or not press operation is performed for the button top 8, sericite detection means for judging that "sericite" is occurring if the button top 8 is not reset from the ON position to the normal position, when the state where the pressure sensor 26 is detecting the press operation is sustaining for a prescribed time or more, and reset means (vibration device 28) for resetting the button top 8 to the normal position, when the sericite detection means judges that "sericite" is occurring.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
