To provide a push button switch member having a white background color with an excellent visibility of a display part even the both display and the background parts have high brightness in either illuminated or non-illuminated condition.
A push button switch member includes at least: a coloring layer 30, an absorption layer 40, and a white layer 50 laminated on an operation surface 22 of a key top 20, the layers containing a photopolymer that changes into a dark color by laser irradiation. A through hole 70 includes: a first area H1 for penetrating the absorption layer 40 and the white layer 50; and a second area H2 for penetrating the coloring layer 30, the absorption layer 40, and the white layer 50 to be disposed so as to partially surround a peripheral area of the first area H1. A color change layer 26 constituting a key top 20 surface layer in the second area H2 is translucent dark color. The whiteness of the coloring layer is 25% or more. There are also provided a key panel and an electronic apparatus using the push button switch member, and a production method of the push button switch member.
