To provide a push button switch member which gives a good click feeling when pushed, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the push button switch member.

A push button switch member 2 comprises: keys 3 or a keyboard to be pushed; and support members 5 for supporting the keys 3 or the keyboard. On the back side of each support member 5, a pushing element 6, which is harder than the support member 5, is fastened to a position overlapping each of the key 3 or the keyboard in a pushing direction. The pushing element 6 has a projection 11 on its back side. The projection 11 has a tip end whose projection area seen from an operation surface is smaller than a dome part constituting a dome-shaped switch member.
