To provide a small switch assembly having a low cost, capable of displaying its on and off condition.
This switch assembly has a push button 10 provided with an opening part to which a transparent cover 20 can be mounted, a circuit, a circuit board 50 to demarcate a first conductive part and a second conductive part insulated each other, and a conductive elastic body part 30 coupled to the first conductive part with its body part separated from the first conductive part. If force is applied to the elastic body part 30 by the push button, the body part of elastic body part 30 is brought into contact with the second conductive part. As a result, the first conductive part is conductively coupled to the second conductive part, a driving circuit on the circuit board 50 is operated to supply power, and a LED 40 emits light. The elastic part 30 has an opening aligned with the opening part of the push button 10, and the LED 40 is installed on the circuit board 50 through the two opening parts.
