To provide a push-button switch wherein an operation stroke at the time of pushing operation can be enlarged, and contact reliability of a contact part is high.
This push-button switch comprises a housing 1 made of a synthetic resin, a central stationary contact 2 and peripheral contacts 3 which are disposed on the housing 1, and a metal plate having a reversible swelled part, and has a movable contact 7 laid on the central stationary contact 2 and the peripheral stationary contacts 3, and a pushing part 9c abutting on the upper side of the swelled part of the movable contact 7. This switch is also provided with an operation member 9 movably disposed in the housing 1, and the operation member 9 is formed of an elastically deformable elastic material. On the abutting surface of the pushing part 9c and the movable contact 7, a resin layer 8 to prevent them from sticking each other by reducing its friction coefficient is provided.
