Abstract:
To provide a small-sized push button switch which can be operated in regardless of contact with an operation part.SOLUTION: An operation part 11 of a push button switch 1 includes a contact surface 111 which an operator touches, and is moved to a pressing position on a depth side from an initial position on a front side in a pressing direction by pressing the contact surface 111. A light projection part 81 and a light reception part 82 are overlapped with the operation part 11 in the pressing direction and arranged on a side deeper in the pressing direction than the contact surface 111. The light projection part 81 radiates a detection light to a side closer to the front than the contact surface 111 through the contact surface 111. The light reception part 82 detects a reflection light of the detection light reflected by the operator approached to the contact surface 111. An operation part 13 performs a predetermined operation when at least one of the movement to the pressing position from the initial position of the operation part 11 and the detection of the reflection light by the light reception part 82 is generated. Thus, a small-sized push button switch 1 which can be easily operated in regardless of the contact with the operation part 11 can be provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
