Abstract:

To prevent the drying, solidification, etc., of liquid in a nozzle by attaching a valve body which is always closed but forcibly opened mechanically to the end of the nozzle, to eliminate the discharge valve of a pump main body, and to secure proper actuation of a pump.

In a push-down nozzle head of a small-sized manual pump which is attached engagingly to the stem Aa of a pump main body A and performs pump operation and the discharge of liquid, a nozzle 2 having a small diameter nozzle hole 3 at the end is installed projectingly from the front surface of a head main body 1 to be attached engagingly to the stem Aa, and the inside of the nozzle 2 or the head main body 1 is formed in a valve chamber 4 connected to the stem Aa. Moreover, in the chamber 4, an always closed valve body 5 which opens the nozzle hole 3 directly is set inside movably, and a mechanical valve-opening means 6 which opens the valve forcibly following the push-down operation of the head main body is installed in the valve body 5.
