This push latch device 100 includes a case body 10, a fixing member 20, a slide member 30, a spring 40 as a first urging means, a guide pin 50, and a spring 54 as a second urging means. The spring 54, which is a coiled one for urging a locking portion 51 of the guide pin 50 to a starting end side of a return passage 31b from a terminal end position of a going passage 31a of a guide groove 31, is attached in a direction perpendicular to a shaft 53 to the fixing member 20 which is provided at the sealing end of the case body 10. The spring 54 urges the locking portion 51 of the guide pin 50 to the starting end side of the return passage 31b from the terminal end position of the going passage 31a of the guide groove 31 in such a manner that the shaft 53 serves as a supporting point.
