To provide a push lock switch that allows miniaturization of an electronic device as it needs less space for installation when installed inside an outer case of the electronic device, and an electronic device mounting structure thereof.
The push lock switch includes: a first and a second switch case 10, 210; an operator 110 slidably housed in the first and second switch case 10, 210; a snap spring 190 for snapping the operator 110 in the direction A of sliding movement; a switch mechanism 50 where a contact is controlled to open and close by the sliding movement of the operator 110; and a lock mechanism 150 for locking the operator 110 in a locked position to which it is pressed and moved against the snapping force of the snap spring 190 and for automatically returning the operator to an unlocked position as it is pressed again. The operator 110 is provided with an operating lever 111 which projects in a direction perpendicular to the direction A of sliding movement. The operating lever 111 projects out of a lever passing section 211 provided on an outer peripheral surface parallel to the direction A of sliding movement.
