To make the casing of a foldable telephone or the like open by nearly 180° even making a weak button operating force easy.
A triplex movable cam consisting of an outer cam 52, an inner cam 51 and a release key 53 is fixed to the casing of a display part. A fixing cam 2 for abutting on the triplex movable cam is fixed to the casing of an operation part. The outer cam 52 and the inner cam 51 engage with each other via the release key 53. When the casing is closed, a protruded portion of the fixing cam 2 rides over the protrusion of the inner cam 51 to lock the casing into a fully closed condition. When a button 1 is pushed in the fully closed condition of the casing, a plunger 4 pushes the release key 53 to release the engagement of the outer cam 52 with the inner cam 51. The front end of the protruded portion of the fixing cam 2 slides down on the slope of the outer cam 52 and arrives at a recessed portion of the outer cam to make the casing open at nearly 180°. The inner cam 51 is pushed away by the fixing cam 2 and rotated about 180°.
