Title:
PUSH-PULL LOCK
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03217568
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To promote controllability by providing a slide frame to the inside of the main body of a lock so that it is capable of moving back and forth, bearing a latch on the front of the frame so that it is pivotable, and providing a handle in the vertical direction.

CONSTITUTION: When a door 1 is opened from the inside of a room, an inner handle 38 is held by a hand to push it to the door 1 side against a torsion spring. After that, the end of a coupling piece 40 provided to the handle 38 is separated from a latch 27 to move backward, it is interlocked with a stopper 23 of a slide frame housed into a lock body 9, and the frame is pulled and moved backward against a latch spring. Then, when the frame is retreated, the fastening of the latch 27 is removed. When the latch 27 starts to interlock with an interlocking hole 31 of a striking plate 30, the latch 27 is pushed and turned in the direction opposite to the turning direction of the door 1 to increase the turning. In addition, the latch 27 turns while retreating, it is pulled into a lock case 9 from the interlocking hole 31, and when the stopping section 23 is brought into contact with a stopper, the door 1 is opened.
