Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a smooth fitting or removal of a push ring in respect to a pipe body even if a working space is narrow.SOLUTION: A push ring 1 of this invention comprises a push ring main body 5 outwardly fitted to an outer circumference of an end part of one pipe body P2 of a pair of connected pipe bodies P1, P2 so as to push a watertight member R arranged at a clearance between both pipe bodies P1, P2 into the clearance; a plurality of claws 6 stored in the push ring main body 5 and arranged at an outer circumferential surface of one pipe body P2 in a contactable and separable manner; a traction strip body 11 bridged in loop over an outer edge opposite to the extremity end facing the outer circumferential surface of each of the plurality of claws 6; and a traction member 16 for towing the traction strip body 11 to reduce a diameter of the loop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
