PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push switch which is excellent in operation feeling and has good stability in electrical conduction, and also to provide a movable contact member.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a push switch 1 which includes: a housing 30 equipped with a housing part 31; a first fixed contact part 21 exposed onto a housing bottom surface 31a of the housing part 31; and a movable contact member 10 having a dome part 10a bulged in a dome shape, arranged in the housing part 31 and movable toward and away from the first fixed contact part 21 accompanied with reverse operation of the dome part 10a, and in which the movable contact member 10 is equipped with a contact piece part 10f protruding toward the inside of the dome part 10a in the vicinity of the apex of the dome part 10a and having a tongue shaped contour of a cantilever. At least one of the contact piece part 10f and the first fixed contact member 21 has a first convex part 11 provided in a convex shape toward the other side, and electrical conduction between the movable contact member 10 and the first fixed contact part 21 is started via the first convex part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
