The push switch with the lead wire mounted therein is equipped with a base made by insertion molding a conductive member consisting of: a fixed contact piece; and a terminal part by a thermosetting resin or a heat-resistant thermoplastic resin. The base has a movable contact piece housing part and a lead housing part mutually separated by a barrier rib. In the movable contact piece housing part, a push button equipped with the movable contact piece electrically connected to the fixed contact piece and a spring to return the push button to the original point, are housed. The lead wire is soldered to the terminal part in the lead housing part, and the movable contact piece housing part and the lead housing part are arranged in a direction orthogonal to a pressing direction of the push button via the barrier rib.
