Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push-on switch whose projected area is small and which is thinned and has excellent suitability to automatic mounting, regarding a push-on switch to be pushed in the horizontal direction.
SOLUTION: An operation part 27 of an operation body 26 and a contact push part 29 are united into a block shape and a projected part 34 for making the contact push part 29 slide and guide a movable contact 24 having elasticity in the push direction at the time of push operation of the operation body 26 is formed in the down face of a flat plate part of a presser plate 33 installed without a gap as to close the upper face of a switch case 21 from the upper side of the operation body 26. Consequently, die working is easily carried out and parts are easily and inexpensively produced and thus a horizontal push-on switch which is made thin and has a narrow projected surface area and an excellent dust-proof property due to no gap in the upper face and suitable to automatic mounting can be obtained.
