To provide a pushing device for an embroidery string capable of being mounted to an existing sewing machine body with a simple operation and capable of embroidery sewing with a simple operation and which has a simple structure and is advantageous in economical view.

A longitudinal piece section 4 is arranged detachably relative to a supporting rod 3 arranged parallel to a needle rod H of the sewing machine body. A lateral piece section 5 has a longitudinal hole section 5a formed in the longitudinal piece section 4 allowing the lower end portion of the needle rod H to pass through the same and a lateral hole section 5b in communication with the longitudinal hole section 5a and passing the embroidery string 6 through it. The embroidery string 6 can be easily and quickly sewing into a sewing cloth W by forming a clearance spaced apart a predetermined distance from the embroidery cloth W by the lateral piece section 5, and by the needle rod H moving and displacing relative to the embroidery string 6 sent from the lateral hole section 5b and arranged above the embroidery cloth W when the lateral piece 4 is mounted to the supporting rod 3.
