PURPOSE: To decrease a load and remove the danger of a breakage by placing an intermediate jig for puch-in on the upper surface of a time piece hand disposed on a hand fixing spindle and fitting the time piece hand to the spindle by applying a vibration to the jig.

CONSTITUTION: An intermediate jig 13 has functions for preventing a vibrator 14 from being brought into direct contact with a time piece hand 11, moving and placing the time piece hand 11 on a hand fixing spindle 12 by attracting the hand 11 by a adsorbing hole 13a communicating with a vacuum pipe 15. by lowering the bottom surface of the vibrator 14 onto the upper surface of the intermediate jig 13, keeping a prescribed gap to a value smaller than the vibrating width of the vibrator 14 and electrifying the vibrator 14 with pulse current to generate a vibration, the time piece hand 11 can be pushed in to the hand fixing spindle 12 via the intermediate jig 13. Thus, a load onto the hand fixing spindle and a movement support supporting the hand fixing spindle can be reduced and the danger of a breakage can be removed.
