Title:
PUTTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09206414
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make it possible to prevent the hooking at the time of short putting by fixing a planar grip having a plane approximately orthogonal with the face of a head to the other end of a shaft fixed with the head at one end of the putter.

This putter has the shaft 10 increased in diameter gradually toward one end side (head 12) side and is fixed with the metallic head 12 consisting of brass, etc., to the large-diameter side front end of the shaft 10 at it central part. The rubber grip 14 is fixed to the small-diameter side front end of the shaft 10. In such a case, the grip 14 is formed to a planar shape which is slender toward the shaft 10, has a uniform thickness and is pointed on the shaft side. The grip is fixed by directing its front surface 16 and rear surface toward the direction approximately orthogonal with the face 20 of the head 12. At the time of use, a user addresses to a ball by holding the grip 14 in a manner as to press its rear surface to the left palm and to press the left thumb to the side part of the grip and puts the ball.
