Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a putting green and a construction method thereof which achieves a promotion of effect for binding propulsion of a golf ball, a simplification of repairing of a collar area and advantage in economy.
CONSTITUTION: In a putting green 1, a green area 3 is made using an artificial turf and a collar area 10 is made using another artificial turf with the length thereof the same as or shorter than that of the artificial turf in the perimeter of the green area 3. The collar area 10 is formed on the perimeter of the green area fixing main zone bodies 11 roughly rectangular and sub zone bodies 12 roughly triangular, both made of the artificial turf, one after another.
