To provide a puzzle toy to be played by a player by putting puzzle pieces in the same shape together into a planar shape and a solid shape.
A puzzle toy 10 is composed of a plurality of puzzle pieces 20. The puzzle piece 20 includes a square body part 21. A projection part is formed on each side of the body part 21. The projection part is a T-shaped projection 30 having a distal end part 32 spread laterally with respect to a base part 34 where the projection part is connected to the body part 21. Between the projection parts adjacent to one side of the body part 21, the distal end part 32 of the T-shaped projection 30 which is the projection part of another puzzle piece 20 is fitted between the base parts 34 of the T-shaped projection 30 which is the projection part of the puzzle piece 20, to detachably engage the puzzle pieces 20 with each other.
