Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A pyranylethyl-naphthalene deriv. represented by formulae I, II [wherein R1 is H or methyl; A is R2-(CF)2-C(CH3)2 or R3O-C(CH3)C(R4)-; R2 is lower alkyl; R3 is phenyl substituted by 1-3 substitutents selected from the group consisting of phenyl, halo, lower alkyl and lower alkoxy; and R4 is H or methyl], its salt, its 1-4C alkyl acetyl or its acetylamino-1-4C alkyl ester.
EXAMPLE: 3,3-difluoro-2,2-dimethylbutanoic acid {1S-[1α,3α,7β,8β(2R*4R*)8 aβ}-8-[2-tetrahydro-4-hydroxy-6-oxo-2H-pyran-2-yl)ethyl]-1,2,3,7,8,8a-hexahydro-3,7- dimethyl-1-naphthalenyl ester.
USE: A hyperproliferative skin antagonist.
PROCESS: Compds. represented by formulae I, II are obtained according to the reaction formula.
