Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:2-tert-Butyl-4-chloro-5-(2-tert-butyl-5-benzooxazolylmethylthio)-3(2 H)-pyridazinone.
USE: An insecticide and acaricide.
PREPARATION: 2-tert-Butyl-4-chloro-5-mercapto-3(2H)pyridazinone is reacted with a benzooxazole expressed by formula I (X represents halogen) or 2-tert- butyl-4,5-dichloro-3(2H)pyridazinone is reacted with 2-tert-Butyl-5-mercapto- metylbenzooxazole, expressed by formula II, in a solvent such as hexane or DMF when occasion demands, and, as necessary, in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent (example; pyridine or triethylamine).
