Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is H, halogen, CF3, CN, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; L is formula II or formula III (R5-R11 are each R1; n is 1-3; p is 2-6); R3 and R4 are each H, alkoxy, morpholino, CN, halogen, CF3, alkyl, alkylsulfonyl, NO2, OH, alkenyloxy, amino, etc.], or its acid addition salt.
EXAMPLE: 6-[4-[N-[2-(2-cyanophenoxy)-2-hydroxypropylamino]-2-methylpropyl]- carbamoylmethoxy-3-chlorophenyl]-4,5-dihydro-3(2H)-pyridazinone.
USE: Useful for treatment of congestive heart failure.
PROCESS: The compound of formula I is prepared by condensing an amine of formulae IV or V with an epoxide of formula VI.
