Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the novel pyrimidine deriv. which has an effect for use particularly at a low administration ratio to plant pathological bacteria as a fungicide and its acid additive salt.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. of formula [R1 is H, (1 to 6C) alkyl, etc.; R2 is H, hydroxy, (2 to 4C) alkenyl, (1 to 4C) alkyl, etc.; R3 is H, (1 to 6C) alkyl, etc.; R4, R5 are H, etc.; R6, R7, R8 are H, halogen, nitro, cyano, etc.]; for example, 4.(methylnaphto.2.il).2.(5,6,7,8.tetrahydroquinoline.2.il).pyrimidine. This compd. is obtd. by subjecting the corresponding halopyrimidine of the formula I to reduction dehalogenation, etc., when R2 = halogen.
