Abstract:

To provide a pyroelectric infrared sensor capable of preventing misinformation with respect to the ambient temperature change in terms of a pyroelectric infrared sensor for detecting infrared rays.

This pyroelectric infrared sensor comprises a pair of pyroelectric bodies 1a, 1b each having a polarization axis in the identical direction, light receiving electrodes 3a, 3b and lower electrodes 2a, 2b which are provided on front surfaces and rear surfaces of the pyroelectric bodies 1a, 1b, respectively and a resistor 5 wherein one end thereof is electrically connected to the lower electrodes 2a, 2b and the other end thereof is electrically connected to the ground.
