Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce a dielectric noise and a popping noise both resulting from a sudden temperature-change in a device by specifying the composition of a pyroelectric porcelain composition.
CONSTITUTION: The main component of a pyroelectric porcelain composition is composed of Pb(NbαSm1-α)O3, PbZrO3 respectively, with the subsidiary component thereof composed of MnO2 and MgO. When the main component is represented by a chemical formula of Pb{Pb(NbαSn1-α)xZryTiz}O3 on the assumption that x+y+z=1, it has the composition that satisfies the conditions given below: 1/6≤σ≤5/6; 0.01≤x≤0.15; 0.65≤y≤0.95; and 0.05≤z≤0.35. As the subsidiary components 0.5 to 3.0mol% of MnO2 and 1.0 to 15.0mol% of MgO are respectively contained with respect to the main component in the pyroelectric porcelain composition.
