Title:
PYROELECTRIC TYPE INFRARED DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3457809
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the highly reliable pyroelectric type infrared detector, which is resistant against mechanical shocks.
SOLUTION: Two sets of electrodes 3 and 4 comprising surface electrodes 3a and 4a and rear-surface electrodes 3b and 4b are connected on a plan-views- rectangular pyroelectric body 2 in the series reverse connection pattern. These electrodes 3 and 4 are symmetrically arranged with a line 5, which equally bisects the pyroelectric body 2 in the right and left symmetrical patter, as the center. A dual-type pyroelectric element 1 formed in this way is supported on the upper surface of a circuit board 6 through supporting stages 9 and 10 at a pair of the opposing sides. in this pyroelectric type infrared detector constituted, in this way, the pyroelectric element 1 is supported at the upper part of the circuit board through a supporting stage 11 even on the central line 5.
