Abstract:
To provide a pyroelectric type infrared sensor which can obtain a wide visual field in a sensor for detecting infrared ray with a pyroelectric unit.
The pyroelectric type infrared sensor comprises a photoreceiver 1 made of a pyroelectric unit for detecting an infrared ray 7, a sealing can 2 having an opening 3 containing the photoreceiver 1 built in, an infrared ray transmission window 4 mounted on the outside so as to cover the opening 3 of the can 2, and an external lens 6 having a focus 5 behind the position of the photoreceiver 1, and can realize a sensor having wide visual field characteristics.
