To provide a small-sized pyrolysis apparatus that achieves large reduction of CO2 generation, a short time and low energy cost for pyrolysis by subjecting a raw material including a polyester fiber product, a polyester mixed fiber spinning product and a polyester resin such as PET to pyrolysis under an oxygen-free atmosphere.
A pyrolysis apparatus includes: an outer pot 2 that is installed above a bottom heater 1 and has an exhaust port 9 at its upper right part; an inner pot 3 that is installed inside the outer pot 2 and filled with uniforms made of polyester, a pyrolysis raw material 4; an upper heater 5 above the uniforms; an outer pot lid 6 that is installed above the upper heater and seals and fixes the outer pot 2; a reflector plate 7 installed on the rear face of the outer pot lid 6; and a water supply unit 8 that is installed on the left side of a pyrolysis furnace body and supplies cooling water to the clearance between the inner pot 3 and the outer pot 2.
